The piece is entirely made of copper which I believe was originally gilt but now has a fantastic patina (this piece has not been polished for generations)
The vessel stands about 8 1/4 inches tall
The plaster filled base measures 5 inches in diameter
This piece definitely dates from the 19th century and is a product of the Aesthetic Movement
