14 karat gold mid-19th century spectacles that belonged to one Rev. Elijah Sutton of Jefferson County, Kentucky (according to some research and an included note paper)
The glasses weigh 9.1 pennyweights gross (including lenses), and measure 4 3/8 inches across and 1 inch high at the lens frame and 6 inch long arms when extended
The case measures 4 3/4 inches across by 1 1/4 inches wide by 3/8 inch high
