This is one of 4 or so variants in this smaller size which date to between 1901-1908 This variant also features the Royal (Edwardian) coat-of-arms to the center of the lid face
Possibly an attic find! The jar measures just under 3" in diameter and stands 1 5/8" tall when the lid is in place on top of the "pot" section
