A splendid antique sewing set, made of mother of pearl, gilded and enameled metal, crystal glass, silk velvet
This set is typical for the famous Palais Royal style sewing necessaires, made in Paris, circa 1810
The original satinwood box ( 16,5 x 10,8 x 7 cm
The central ring looks as if it's made of a branche
The scissors are 9 x 3,5 cm
The thimble is 14,5 mm
wide, 22 mm high
It's about an American size 5. It has one faint hairline, hardly visible, please enlarge the pictures
