White heart seed beads were made in Venice Italy and imported by traders such as the Hudson's Bay Company and traded to the Indians for their furs
These are primarily used for covering the surface of an object (a bag, moccasins, pouch, etc)
These beads are the very small ones used for intricate designs and beadwork by the Crow Indian people
