This is a very finely crafted terracotta vessel hand made by a Potter among the Mangbetu peoples of the Congo , DRC , Africa
The Vessel measures 11 inches tall ( and will include a display stand
In the late 18th century a group of Mangbetu-speaking elites, mainly from the Mabiti clan, assumed control over other Mangbetu clans and many neighboring Bantu-speaking tribes
