This tapestry was made with very small stitches, which are under 1mm in length in the petit point areas, and only about 2mm – 3mm long in the other areas
They are marked "Made in Austria"
This beautiful example of antique needlework was made by Katherine M. Ferguson, who was a member of the Morey family in Denver
