Hand painted on artist board this antique, circa-1905, Miniature Oil Painting depicts the Hamburg Line, Victoria Luise
Launched in 1900 this German Ocean Liner was in service till 1909 and was one of the first of the super Ocean Liners of the 20th century
There is not much information about the German Marine Artist, C. Hagener, but you can find early 20th century examples of his highly detailed Ship Portrait Paintings on line
