The lid dates to ca 1890
The lid measures about 2 3/4" in diameter & the complete jar with the lid in place stands about 1 3/8" tall
For any viewers who may not know what Bears grease was used for : In the Victorian era it was believed that the grease from a bear carcass could stimulate hair growth and help prevent baldness
