More info
15 1/2 x 9 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches
The microscope measures about 15 1/2" tall in its closed position (15" with the short eyepieces)
a 70 mm long sliding plate I don't know what is called (compensator or Bertrand lens?)
a construction which favors smoothness and sensitiveness in the adjustment, so that a l-4th inch objective may be focused by it alone
The fine adjustment is made by the milled-head at the lower end of the body
