This is a wonderful alligator or crocodile Doctor's bag or satchel, made by the Gump Trunk Company in Kansas City, Missouri
If I measure across where the sides "bulge" out, the length is approximately 12 1/2"
Measuring from bottom to top of bag (not including handle), the height is approximately 7 1/4" including the lock
