Made of solid bronze/brass, with moving parts
It is based on instruments used by Ancient Greek astronomers, combined into a smaller, portable instrument
Continental European in origin, most likely German or Austrian
It is hard to strictly date this very specimen, but looks like it is from the 18th century, possibly earlier
2.25" with loop (56 mm), 1.65" diameter (42 mm)
