This one was labelled "Javaanse Kudi", the origin is Indonesia, probably from Java Island
The earliest Kujang made is around the 8th or 9th century
It is forged out of iron, steel and pattern welding steel with a length of approximately 20-25cm and weighs about 300 grams
Apart from its unique characteristics that tend to be thin, the material is dry, porous and contains many natural metal elements
This kris kujang is in total 27,5cm, the wooden handle part has some cracks, the blade only is 16cm
