It is silk and it was made in Japan
It includes a scissors holder which is 4 inches long and it actually has a little light mystery staining
There is also a small heart shaped pincushion that is 2 1/4 inches across and last a little purse called a "Keep" which would hold some thread and probably a thimble, maybe even some needles
The ring it is on is 3 1/2 inches across and hanging down including the tassel it is another 10 inches from the ring
