It was made from oak or it could be chestnut (I can't tell the difference) and appears to still have the original finish
This pediment measures approximately 36 1/2" long x about 10 1/2" high in the middle (not including the three existing dowels) x 1 13/16" wide across the top pieces of wood and 1 3/8" wide at the bottom
