Original made by Samuel Alcock (1799– The Distin family was a family of British Musicians in the 19th century who performed on saxhorns and were influential in the evolution of brass instrument Henri Distin was a manufacturer of brass instrument in England and the United States These detailed casatings of the Distin Quintet and their horns are modelled after a famous lithograph of the family by Charles Baugniet made in 1845 The large Parian Pitcher is lilac on white and measures 9” The small Alcock Parian Pitcher is made from white on lilac, and measures 6”
