From ancient Persia, the Archaemenid Period ca. 500 BC, a very heavy and substantial cloak pin with a mushroomed hollow domed cap, thick shank with heavily ribbed decoration along half its' length 4-15/16" (12.6cm) long, head is 3/4" (20mm) diameter, and shank is 5/16" - 3/8" (8-10mm) at thickest points Mounted and labeled on a polished wood plinth, the overall height is 6" (15.3cm)
