Although details of his training are unknown, Bernardo Calcagni was the best maker of the 18th century Genova School
Its sound is powerful, deep, robust and complex, as would be expected from a top 18th century Italian maker
The length of back is 353 mm
Whole length is 583 mm
One piece back of beautiful softly flamed maple wood, fixed with 2 wooden nails, the top is made of a high grained spruce
