manufacturer punchmark S&W – I am not entirely sure whet maker it is, It was suggested that it could be Smith & Wesson production for US Navy but I was not able to confirm it
Classic brace shape typical for 19th century instruments, in early 20 century adopted by Doyen with his bit fit – really nice piece - perfect addition to any medical collection
