This is a rare sax-oboe made by Buffet
Length of the instrument is 21-1/4"
The mechanism is almost the same as the conical-bore ring key Boehm system flute, which Buffet was making in the 19th century
I'm guessing it was made in the early 20th century, possibly the end of the 19th
