This very good antique 18th century Hopf school violin The violin was made in Klingenthal Germany, probably around 1780 or so The model and style are consistent with the thousands of Hopf school violins that came out of Germany from the mid-18th century up until the outbreak of World War II 14 inches or 356mm back length, 328mm vibrating string length, and a 195mm body stop
