A scarce terracotta statue head from pre-Columbian Mexico, Huaxtec culture, Panuco II-III period, ca. 100 BC - 700 AD 2-3/4" (7cm) tall, 1-3/4" (4.5cm) wide across the ears, and 1-3/8" (3.5cm) front to back Mounted and labeled on a polished wood plinth, the overall height is 5-1/2" (14cm) A beautiful example of the statuary made by these ancient pre-Columbian peoples
