Here is a very nice old pipe tomahawk from the fur trade era circa 1850
The brass head with inset iron bit was made by the Hudson's Bay Company and has a conjoined HB mark as well as a sitting fox cartouche, an early HBC hallmark
The head measures 10" long with a 3" wide bit, the haft is about 24" long
