However, it clearly appears to be an unsigned instrument manufactured by or retailed by Joseph Amado of London, England in the mid-19th Century
It most likely dates from circa 1858
The stage of this microscope is relatively small, rectangular (42mm by 54mm), with a pair of slide clips and with a central aperture of 20mm
At the lower end of the limb is a 36mm diameter brass yoke mounted plano-concave mirror that can be adjusted to various angles
When the microscope limb stands vertical, the microscope stands about 13 inches tall
