This very old, 18th century antique violin The violin bears a partially obliterated label which appears to be that of Andreas Borelli, a maker who lived in Parma Italy in the 18th century This is a fine quality instrument, handmade by a single maker, and of a type and quality that I rarely come across The back measures 356mm or 14 inches The string length is 328mm and the neck stop is 130mm
