A green stone amulet from the pre-Columbian Mezcala culture of western Mexico, ca. 300 BC - 300 AD
Has facial and other features heavily incised, has a pleasing mottled dark green color, 2-5/8" (6.6cm) tall, 1-1/8" (2.9cm) at the widest, and 3/4" (1.9cm) thick
Mounted and labeled on an antiqued polished hardwood plinth, the overall height is 4-7/8" (12.4cm)
