In the 1960's a discovery was made in Scotland of 7 tons of Roman nails buried six feet deep to keep the conquered from finding them and making swords out of the iron
This NAIL is from the LATE CLASSIC ROMAN PERIOD: 1st - 3rd CENTURY AD
