| Measurements are | Overall length of the sword inside sheath: 35" L | It was made and used by the Tiv people of Nigeria
Most of the surviving examples of such ceremonial weapons date from around the turn of the 19th Century into the 20th Century
I believe the materials to be bronze and iron (one museum catalog with similar items says the metals are brass and iron)
length of the sword alone is 30" L
