The scale measures approximately 40" long, 3-1/2" wide at center, 6" high at hook, and weighs 6 pounds
In the center of the 100# scale is a "4", it is telling you to use the 4# weight
You would use the 8# weight
The 8+ weighs an ounce or two above 8 pounds
One 8 pound weight and the 4 pound weight are marked on the top with weight
