Vintage 1916 Singer model 99K sewing machine made in Scotland during the First World War
No model stamped on the machine but the serial number indicates it is the 3/4 size 99K
Sews a nice stitch thru 2 to 4 layers of denim jean so should handle most materials OK
It is missing some of the later 99K features like a stitch length lever and reverse but this was 1916! Stitch length is the old style thumb screw
The 99K is a smaller size machine which was well loved by household customers over the years
