Our research found that this mute was made by Louis W. Shastock of Cleveland Ohio in the early 1920s!
Made in Cleveland O. U.S
This mute measures about 6 1/2” tall x 2 3/4” at the large end and 3/4” at the narrow end
It feels like it is made of wood with a brass ring around the small end
