An Antique Press of some sort , not sure what it pressed , the jaws are 3.5 inch wide , 10 inches long , Cast iron , some original gold painted pin stripping , when jaws opened all the way it is a 2.5 inches wide
when closed it leaves a 1/2 inch gap
som it was made to flatten something to 1/2 inch
