Unmarked and unmatched pair of delicate steel scalpels, as found in general instrument roll-up kits and eye surgery cases of the 3rd quarter 19th century and 1st quarter 20th century
Could be used for abscess drainage/lancing or as cataract knives
Curved-blade instrument is 12.6 cm long, with a 1.8 cm long, 2 mm wide blade
handle is 6 mm wide and 4 mm thick
Straight-bladed instrument is 12.7 cm long, with a 1.8 cm long, 2.5 mm wide blade
handle is 10 mm wide and 2.5 mm thick
